CR 5543 VT2/RIB provides terrific agronomics with a proven yield performance. A medium-tall plant with medium-high ear placement with excellent roots and stalks ratings. It is a girthy-eared, semi-flex hybrid with ability to reach upper yield levels with moderate seeding rates. Good Goss' Wilt tolerance and is a great choice for continuous corn and tough and stressful conditions. Strong and uniform out of the ground with good stand establishment. Impressive test weight and fantastic grain quality that has very strong southern rust tolerance. The wide plant and dense canopy make it an excellent silage choice.
